Agent of the Month - October 2014 | Go4Freight - Ray Muller

It is a privilege to announce our October Agent of the Month, Ray Muller. Ray has a long history of working in Sales Management and has sold everything from high-end vacuum cleaners to cars and luxury RVs. Along the way, he has learned the most important and common factor to sales, “Listen to your customers. They will always tell you how to gain their business.”

Ray started in the industry about five and half years ago and quickly found himself working 60 hour weeks due to rough economic times. He began exploring other options after a conversation with a friend who was a freight broker, working a regular Monday through Friday schedule. Knowing that everything from the largest to the smallest items must be shipped, Ray found the industry fascinating. He then made a goal to move to Lake Havasu City, AZ and form a territory before moving back to Georgia. He thanks God for his success.

Employee of the Month October 2014 | Alison Szymanski

We are very excited to announce our October employee of the month, Alison Szymanski. Alison has been with GlobalTranz for three years and is our Training & Implementation Specialist. She trains all agency models on our proprietary software, trains internal employees on items needed for their direct position and pushes ideas to our development team for implementation in software feature releases.

Carrier Spotlight September 2014 | AAA Cooper Transportation

GlobalTranz is proud to have AAA Cooper Transportation recognized as our September featured Carrier Spotlight. Inbound Logistics Magazine recently listed them as a 2014 Top 100 Motor Carrier. GlobalTranz also awarded them our Southeast Region 2013 Carrier of the Year Award.

The AAA Cooper journey began in the 1930’s when John H. “Red” Dove started in the transportation industry hauling logs for his father. By 1955, Mr. Dove had purchased P.C. White Truck Lines and changed the name to AAA Motor Lines. Later, his sons, Earl and Mack, received their degrees in transportation and joined the family business between 1959 and 1962.

For decades to come, there were tight regulations put in place by the Interstate Commerce Commission, a former independent agency of the U.S. government. GlobalTranz Recognized at 2014 Phoenix Business Journal's Arizona Corporate Excellence (ACE) Awards

GlobalTranz is honored to have been awarded at the 2014 Arizona Corporate Excellence (ACE) Awards as the 3rd Fastest-Growing and the 12th Largest Private Company in Arizona, moving up from the 5th Fastest Growing Company in 2012 and 19th Largest Private Company in 2013.

The Arizona Corporate Excellence (ACE) Awards, is an event developed by Phoenix Business Journal that recognizes private companies in the state of Arizona for two separate categories: annual revenue and year-over-year growth. This year, there were about 300 business leaders who attended this grand event honoring the recipients. The categories included transportation, construction, technology, health care and more. Among the other Top Private Companies was Discount Tire ranking 1st, StandardAero in 2nd, and Chapman Automotive Group in 3rd.  Vemma Nutrition Co. ranked 1st this year as Fastest Growing Company in Arizona, MT Builders Cos. ranked 2nd, and GlobalTranz in 3rd.

Agent of the Month - September 2014 | GlobalTranz Authorized Agent - Jill Graff

We are proud to announce the Agent of the Month, Jill Graff, for the month of September. Jill brings with her 27 years of industry experience and has been partnered with GlobalTranz since February of 2011. Her motivation and perseverance have made her successful at what she does and she has no plans on stopping anytime soon.

Her career in the transportation industry began in 1987 as a management trainee for a large LTL company where she learned the LTL trade; she was later promoted to sales in 1990. She stayed in sales until 2009 when a massive layoff forced her out of the company. She partnered with GlobalTranz after one of her previous VP of Sales recruited her to look into the company. Jill is currently a one-woman team and finds her motivation from the success of her business over the last three years. Employee of the Month September 2014 | Brian Coleman

For September, we are excited to announce, Brian Coleman, as our Employee of the Month. For the last three and half years, Brian has proven himself to be a dedicated and enthusiastic employee. He is currently Manager of Business Development.    Brian’s primary focus is building relationships with outside sales reps, agents, and 3PL's in the industry to help them align their businesses with GlobalTranz. As a proven closer, Brian is responsible for taking a potential agency from the initial call through their research phase into signing their agreement. On top of recruiting, Brian also manages the Business Development team of recruiters. Brian elaborated that the biggest challenge he faces in his roll is practicing patience and learning how to communicate with a wide variety of personalities in the industry.
