Tony Albanese Brings 30 Years Industry Experience to GlobalTranz

PHOENIX (July 29, 2010) — GlobalTranz is excited to announce the recent hire of Mr. Tony Albanese as Chief Operating Officer. As revenue continues to exceed expectation, GlobalTranz is focused on developing strategic relationships with key industry professionals to collaborate on a corporate level and continue to optimize processes. “In his first two weeks as COO, Tony has come up with a viable game plan on improving our EDI and Rebill processes at GlobalTranz. With over 30 years in sales, marketing, and operations roles with leading freight transportation companies, Mr. Albanese brings to the table a surplus of industry knowledge and experience.  As Senior Vice President of Operations and Sales with Saia Inc, he successfully accelerated crucial strategic initiatives and delivered quantifiable results with leadership in large-scale management, operations, and engineered management. In addition, Mr. Albanese has led the strategic development, planning, and execution of $15 to $75 million acquisitions over the past 9 years. He has served as executive sponsor for a customer base exceeding $150 million in annual sales. Mr. Albanese has a thorough understanding of third party logistics business models and strengths in developing strategic growth and profit initiatives that enhance customer relationships. His impressive industry background and superior leadership skills will be a tremendous asset to GlobalTranz.
