Mr. Mark Schonau Joins GlobalTranz  Management Team   

PHOENIX (January 17, 2011) — GlobalTranz, a leader in the third party logistics and transportation industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mark Schonau to Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Mark has 20 plus years of experience providing financial and operational leadership as a CFO to both public and private corporations. He has successfully led multiple corporations, including three publicly traded companies recognized as leaders in their respective industries.

Mark has worked with a number of high-growth companies in the technology space, namely as Chief Financial officer for Cyclone Commerce, Inc. (acquired by Axway Inc.), VIASOFT, and CyCare Systems. He has also been instrumental in directing organizations in rapid growth and business acquisitions.  Mark’s proficiency in both technology and financial expertise will help further position GlobalTranz as a leader in the transportation industry.

In addition to his executive roles, Mark is highly involved in his community. For six years, he has served as Treasurer of the Arizona Technology Council, a non-profit trade association founded to connect, represent and support the state's expanding technology industry and to promote economic growth and professional development in Arizona's technology sector.
