Hillary Yee
GlobalTranz’s Employee of the Month for June, is someone who is truly dedicated and enthusiastic about her job and is exceptionally focused on what’s best for the company. That person is none other than, Hillary Yee. Hillary has been with GlobalTranz for three and half years where she started as a Traffic Coordinator and is now our Pricing Administrator. Some of her duties include managing two pricing analysts, a traffic analyst, and pricing support. She has recently started to negotiate pricing for small regional carriers.

Hillary grew up in the pleasant town of Oologah, Oklahoma and attended St. Gregory’s University for two years where she played soccer on a full ride scholarship. Later, she finished her Bachelors in Biology at the University of Central Oklahoma and accepted an internship at the Department of Environmental Quality. Finally, when she had completed the internship, she returned to school to receive her Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from Oklahoma State University.

Looking forward, Hillary intends to work hard and continue to advance into new responsibilities and roles. She also hopes to negotiate larger accounts and work with more carriers. She undoubtedly cares about her job and says, “I really enjoy the people I work with, including internal employees, agents, and our carrier partners. The atmosphere in the department I work in is great.”

In Hillary’s spare time, she enjoys many active activities such as hiking, lifting weights, biking, watching movies and spending time with friends. When it’s finally time to wind down, she likes to enjoy a nice glass of wine, preferably red.

“Hillary Yee is astute and a very dedicated individual. She went above and beyond in planning the GlobalTranz annual convention, while at the same time, conducting her responsibilities as Pricing Administrator. She excelled in both functions and met all deadlines even if that meant working late into the night or weekends. As a product of her commitment, the convention was a renowned success.”
