Truckload Topics – Pacific Northwest Region Department
Due to the inconsistency of carrier capacity out of the Northwest region, we have to rely heavily on our great carrier relationships and consistent national account freight. During the first quarter of 2015 we booked 1,169 loads with $1,489,312 in revenue and $206,875 in margin. In the second quarter we increased all numbers with 1,548 loads, $1,915,594 in revenue and $297,249 in margin. Quarter three saw a slight decrease in all categories with 1,476 loads, $1,587,244 in revenue and $276,435 in margin. With our best month in terms of loads booked in October, currently through quarter four we are at 878 loads, $953,240 in revenue and $133,035 in margin.
“The Pacific Northwest region was created in January of 2015. Since the creation of the region, we have been able to onboard several national accounts, including Niagara Water, Fiji Water, US Foods, Pepsi Co, Henkel and Anhauser-Busch. Niagara and Pepsi are the biggest contributors to the growth and consistency of the Northwest region.” – Adam Sosna | Senior Manager of Flatbed Capacity
