The HIT Award is annually presented to the Top GlobalTranz Freight Agency that strives for success while maintaining the principles set forth by one of GlobalTranz very first and most revered Freight Agents, Paul Walsulko.
The Freight industry is fast-paced and can be difficult to navigate.
– When a Freight Agency takes the time to pay attention to what is most important
– When they value core customer service
– When they are honest in their pursuit of success
– When they have integrity in business, as well as in life
– When they enable trust in their team and their customers
An Agency’s success is a byproduct of their day-to-day operations, not the driving force.
GlobalTranz is ‘Freight Driven by Technology’ and we are proud to honor GTN Cincinnati, a Freight Agency ‘Driven by Honesty, Integrity, and Trust.’
“Globaltranz has been a great partner for the last 8 years. The Excellent rates and top of the line software tools they have equipped us with give us an enormous advantage over our customers,” states Joe Buringrud, President of GTN Cincinnati.
GTN Cincinnati started in 2008 – they employ a team of 5 CSRs (customer service representatives) and 2 sales associates. They have plans for expansion and hope to open an Indianapolis office in the fall of 2016. As an Agency, GTN Cincinnati hopes to pass $7.5 million in sales in this year.
“We love to party. Our team is led by Dan Wysong, Justin Bonomini, and Mindy St. John. Lisa Tom and Angie Wright also play a valuable role in our success and our top salesman is Nick Gregg,” says Joe Buringrud. “As an office we enjoy starting the morning off with some intense karate drills to get the day started on the right foot. When we aren’t servicing the freight industry we try and help local law enforcement on unsolved crimes around the country.”
The playful tone of Joe’s quotes embodies the environment that the GTN Cincinnati team thrives in. They work hard and play hard, and they always do so as a team.
“My team is the main reason for our continued growth and success and without them there would be a lot of unsolved crimes and loose criminals roaming the streets of Cincinnati!”
“Joe provides a recipe for success with a laid back atmosphere. Really enjoy being part of the GTN Cincy team.” – Dan Wysong, VP of Operations
When asked about being named the HIT Award Winner, Joe stated, “Winning this award means a great deal to us, Paul was a great person; I only had the opportunity to speak with him a couple of times but just in those brief interactions I could tell what kind of person he was and I am extremely honored to have known him.”
