Truckload Topics – Refrigerated Team

The Refrigerated Team is an area of GlobalTranz that is still young, but an area that has great potential.  Since re-establishing a Refrigerated department in July of 2015 we have seen continued growth month over month.

The Refrigerated Team has 6 Carrier Sales Representatives who support Full Truckload Refrigerated shipments.  This team is growing month over month and currently supports nationwide coverage including Canada.  We have seen tremendous growth since officially building out the team in July of 2015.  We have improved our load count by 186% and total revenue by 163% totaling over 3,000 shipments and $5 million in revenue.

The key driving factors in this growth has been the development of our sales partners both internally and the Agent Network.  We have worked closely with multiple sales partners in building carrier relationships, quoting shipments, RFP support for contractual freight and service recommendations for our customers.

This growth in network capacity and market knowledge has given us the ability to service Enterprise Accounts such as US Foods, Coca Cola and Kraft Heinz.  The Refrigerated Team takes pride in building strong carrier relationships to support our sales partners.  Our primary focuses include increasing shipment count, additional contractual freight and building our carrier network.

“The Refrigerated Team is constantly learning and developing new relationships with sales partners, carriers and customers to put our mark on the Refrigerated market.” – Marc Santuccio | Senior Manager of Refrigerated Capacity

Truckload Topics – Northeast Van Department

The Northeast Van region was established in August 2014 and encompasses the upper right portion of the United States. The team specializes in the transportation of full-truckload shipments, with a majority of the outbound freight originating in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

Since the region’s inception, the Northeast Van team has demonstrated exponential growth in load count and revenue, and is consistently a top three operations team month-over-month within the Globaltranz Direct Sales division. In 2015, the Northeast Van team booked and delivered approximately 11,000 shipments for 15.7MM revenue.

The key driving factors in the success of the region have been the onboarding and continued growth of Enterprise customers, most notably of which are: Coca-Cola, Henkel and Kraft Heinz. The Northeast Van team utilizes the high volume of loads these customers provide to develop strong carrier partnerships within the region. These carrier relationships enable the team to maximize profit margins, maintain high scorecards with our customers, and ultimately ensure the continued growth of the region.

The Northeast Van team takes pride in its ability to operate as one cohesive unit, with the collective focus always being communication, high service and coverage levels, and controlled buy rates. The team is eager for more freight and looks forward to more growth and success in 2016 and beyond!
