GlobalTranz, the nation’s 12th largest freight brokerage firm, announced today that it has been selected by Inbound Logistics Magazine as one of the 100 Top Third Party Logistics providers for 2016.

“We are so proud to be selected as a member of this elite class. Being named to Inbound Logistics’ prestigious list of top 100 3PL firms is an honor and an award we are thrilled to humbly accept. Each year we set our service goals even higher than the year before. We want to not only meet expectations that are set by ourselves and our community, but exceed them. Being named to this list says we’re definitely on the right track,” says Bob Farrell, CEO.

Since its origin in 1981, Inbound Logistics has long been regarded as the number one trade industry publication within the freight industry. Created for business logistics and supply chain managers, Inbound Logistics provides information to assist companies of all sizes to better manage their company’s overall industry resources. Each year, the magazine publishes a list of the top 100 industry leaders that best display high levels of excellence.

This year saw even more interest from companies submitting their credentials, seeking to be named to the distinguished list. Several hundred companies applied which presented a more difficult challenge than usual for the editorial selection team to choose only 100 3PL leaders among them.

“When choosing the Top 100 3PL Providers, Inbound Logistics editors looked for providers demonstrating excellence in optimizing transportation and logistics operations, as well as transformative solutions that drive integration across internal and external business processes,” says Felicia Stratton, Editor, Inbound Logistics.

This is the second time in two consecutive years that GlobalTranz has been named to Inbound Logistics’ top 100 list. Since being selected in 2015, GlobalTranz has continued its trend of excellence, showing growth and innovation in practice.

Most recently, GlobalTranz announced a new going green initiative and partnership with leading recycle company, Recycle 1 in Phoenix, AZ. The program focuses on waste reduction, starting with employees and branching into larger programs.

Also, in June, 2016, GlobalTranz announced a partnership with Impact Diversity Solutions Corporation (IDSC) to make accessing a true diversity coverage strategy for companies that contract with the United States Government a reality. The partnership between the two entities will allow for the optimization of industry leading transportation management technology in navigating government contracts.

“With recognition comes an even higher degree of expectation and responsibility for excellence. Creating value-added programs for our clients is top on our priority list. Each day we seek to improve their experience by providing additional resources, improved technology and top level service. Our community, which includes our customers, our partners and our employees, have always been and will always be our number one focus,” says Bob Farrell, CEO.

Part of the growth that GlobalTranz has seen this past year includes the celebration of new offices in Scottsdale, AZ complete with a state-of-the-art health facility. GlobalTranz also became a member of CargoNet as a way to best protect their customers’ freight. This is the latest in GlobalTranz’ ongoing efforts to improve the logistics experience of all of their partners.

The Inbound Logistics Top 100 list appears in the July 2016 print edition of the publication. The list will also be posted online on the Inbound Logistics website. Readers will be able to visit the website and enter their outsourced logistics requirements to match the solutions for providers that best suits to their needs.

Additionally, a digital edition of the publication, a special digital supplement, and an e-book will be available following the publication of the July print edition.
